December 2, 1999 Fran mentioned: >>I keep toying with the idea of Zara doing a 48 Hours thing --- a day in the life of the warriors. Watch all of the guys try to avoid her. Watch all of the women try to avoid her. Watch Robert take this and run with it. Watch me run away from it. Fran (Packing for a week in Portland..._)<< Didn't we send her for a viper ride down the launch tube on top of the viper? Hold it a micron. IIRC, she tried that in one of your stories starting by waking up Boomer with 101 questions on post-battle joy, to which he was not a happy Warrior. Later, in one of my stories, Starbuck sent her down the river in a float all by herself to the level 4 and up rapids because he didn't want to deal with her. Okay. So somehow she found a way back. now what do we do with her? During a Long Range Patrol, she slides her head out in a drawer under the viper seat to ask questions. Pilot: "How do you get here?" Zara:"Don't ask. It's a tight squeeze down here." Viper Pilot furiously kicks the drawer shut. When it fails, he points his laser blaster down at her and keeps it in place between his knees to shoot her if she says one word. Nah. He could also do some space walking. Next. During a practice session in Triad, she pops up in the score hole to disrupt the practice and ask questions. That wouldn't work either. All the players have to do is practice scoring and bonk her with the Triad ball. She pops up in another score hole. They go after that one. Next. She climbs up the laundry chute to personal quarters or an officers' changing area to ask questions right in the middle of undress. Yup, she heard about how easily Starbuck slipped in on Athena, but wanted to be more crafty than he. Shucks. All the person would have to do who is in the middle of changing is run over to hit the SEND button before she climbs out of the chute. The door to the quickly shuts. She barely pulled her fingers back in one piece only to be sucked down into the laundry area by the chute vacuum. Naw that wouldn't work either. It may force her too "Clean" up her act. I'll have to think pretty hard about this one. Robert (who's one his way out the door to fly maneuvers) " We have'em unlucky cloud bird in sky. Need help." "Let's go get'em. Hi, Ho Piper, AWAAAAAAAAY!"
