It's a little lonely at the top

sometimes
when there is no one to talk to
about my fears and nightmares

sometimes
when I can't get Baltar
out of my head
and wonder
if we will finally escape

sometimes
when I am afraid
Earth might be only a dream
despite our hopes

sometimes
when my rank
makes people hesitate
and then change the subject
without saying what they really wanted to

BTW, Inua is my character in my fictional world of BG. A chemist who
discovered a way to synthesize tylium at a time while there was no
other source available.  When Adama came to look at her discovery
and its working, she fell for him. It took her a long time, though,
to convince him of a new relationship.
