I think I remember reading a fan fic about G80 being an 
IFB Broadcast.  The what do you think Earth will be like 
when we get there show.

All I can remember is that I ROTFL for so long I had 
tears in my eyes.

Now the IFB would have to broadcast game shows.  How 
about The Cubit is Right.  or Warriors/Quorum Squares.

Then there would be the Soap Operas.  Lets see...Centars 
of Our Lives...The Guiding Ship of Lights....Life Center 
...As The Universe Turns...

Prime Time shows....Everybody Loves Starbuck(?)...Two 
Guys, a Girl and a Viper.....WKRP IN SPACE....Monday 
Night Triad....This Old Freighter.....Walker, Space 
Ranger...60 Centons...

Let's add some oldies but goodies...

"BJ and the Daggit"...all about a Colonial Mover space pilot  and his
daggit-droid who's learned how to make right turns -- 5 cubits if you
remember the name!  :-)

"The Sires of Hazzard"...a family of space jockeys make trouble for
themselves by flying fast and regularly disrupting the machinations of
a would-be Boss Uri.

"Lasersmoke"...in which Apollo goes from planet to planet facing down
Cylon fast guns...oops, I guess that was a plot...

And of course "Adama's Angels"...the commander of a lost battlestar
realizes what his best assets are, and sends out three gorgeous
well-armed babes to battle Cylon tyranny wherever it may rise -- a
blond named Cassie, a brunette named Athena, and a redhead named
Sheba  --  (yikes!  ducking for cover!!!)

Then we have
   "Galactica Hope"... the story of the life and death struggles
that are faced by the doctors and med techs in a large life center.
 
   " The Wonder Yahrens "... the coming of age story of a young boy

I'm sure we could find a volunteer out there somewhere, who could
*force* himself to spend time working with this team, for the good
of the Fleet and the survival of humanity, right, guys?  Someone
would be willing to sacrifice himself?

And once the kiddie centar is over we add:

"Caprica City"...the lives and loves of a prominent Caprica City
family of bureauticians, military leaders, and tylium miners, headed
by a matriarch named Belloby, with her new husband Adama, and their
mixed family of his children and hers, and their ongoing fued with a
Piscon family.  Things are complicated when her stepdaughter Athena
falls in love with their chief rival...Count Baltar.

"Solon's Law"...the daily life of the largest legal firm in the
Colonies, whose senior partner is none other than Opposer Solon, who
constantly comes into conflict with the young protectors in the
firm...Apollo and Boomer.

"The Omega Files"...in which a pair of young officers named Omega and
Rigel are called upon to investigate various conspiracy theories
within the fleet...but learn they aren't really supposed to find out
anything...as they come up against with the fumarello-smoking man,
who may or may not be Omega's father...
