Twas the night beofre Thanksgiving,
And all through the Fleet,
The Colonials were drooling,
At the thought of white meat!

The stuffing had been readied with such wonderful care,
Though Starbuck kept thinking of Cassie's golden hair.
Apollo's evening with Sheba was going to click,
But first he'd snitch just one more big drumstick.

Jolly and Greenbean, Boomer and Giles,
Could smell what was cooking, and they were all smiles.
Adama had left the bridge to the trusty Colonel Tigh,
"But don't worry," he winked, "I'll bring ya a thigh!"

Doctor Salik, and his friend Doctor Paye,
Knew that the patients would eat sumptously that day.
Even IFB, (Ya know, Zara and Zed?)
Knew that the staff would be very well fed.

Athena and Boxey, stuffing their face,
Did so with abandon, (but remembered to say Grace!)
Even Wilker and Twilley managed a bite,
(With Baltar's Cylons locked safely up tight!)

Serina and John, on the Great Ship of Lights,
Thought about dropping in for a bite,
But Iblis wafted by, his evel face grinning,
So they had to dash off to keep him from sinning.

Boxey grabbed a wing, and then some more stuffing,
Muffit found him his cheeks madly puffing,
He liked the bountiful swell of that full, tender breast,
(He hangs around Starbuck. You can imagine the rest!)

Omega and Rigel decided the gravy,
Was the best they'd had in the Colonial Navy.
Even the huge, steaming plates full of buttery spud,
Made then forget the usual vacuum-packed crud.

So they all ate their fill,
And licked gravy off their thumbs,
Save Twilly who ate too much,
And went looking for Tums.

So the Fleet sailed on, into the night,
Her people, for once, feeling that all was just right.
No one had to show the slightest defiance,
They could even forget about the Eastern Alliance.

Imperious Leader, high atop his cruel throne,
Realized they'd escaped, leaving him all alone.
But he heard Lucifer say, as he comtemplated his disgrace,
"We missed 'em again. You screwed up Lizard Face!"

So they next time you cook,
(Best talk this over with the Colonel)
