Ack, I see Lord of the Hamsters had to throw a wrench
in my stew.

   Yeah, that stuff they make us do emergency landings
on in viper training.  You remember? They kill the engines
via radio from HQ?  I remember when the viper techs
came out to get my viper.  They were yelling:
   "Feel the rhythm. 
    Feel the ride.
    Get on up!
    It's Viper Push Time.
    COOL SLIDING!"
